If so which ones, and did they work. ‘Cause I’ve been using Exotic Allure for a little over month now, but my hair is in braids so I can’t really tell if it’s grown much.
Answer by jupi89

I want to deep condition my hair. How do I do it? What are the best products to use. My hair is super dry, thick and frizzy.
Answer by Derrick
You should just use a conditioner that you really like, wet your hair and rub the conditioner in. Put a bag or shower cap over it to retain heat. You can sit under the dryer but thats optional. If you dont, try to put a hood on, so your hair will be warm. I like to mix 1/2 a cup of baking soda; to 1 cup of conditioner. Makes my hair feel like sea weed. lol

I’m moving to Rhode Island from Seattle, WA in about 2 weeks and will be getting married out there in 14 months, but I have no clue where to find a replacement hair stylist or salon. Any clues? I’m willing to go to MA.
Actually, I am willing to travel to MA and CT…but I would love to know where I could find one in RI…

I get my ends clipped regularly, but some reason i still have breakage and my hair doesn’t seem to be growing. I wash my hair every three weeks (I have to extend my washes because my hair is very dry and frequent washes make it brittle) and condition with cholestrol but my growth is VERY slow. Any recommendations???
I have used DooGro, B&B Super Gro and Dr. Miracle’s.
Answer by Prodigy93
Look for products that have protien in them. Stay away from products with petrolum and mineral oil, they’re VERY bad for your hair. Look for products with Shea butter and coconut oil. Don’t limit your hair product selection only to the ethnic sections of the store. Dont use so much heat on your hair. Wash hair no more than 1x per week and learn to use conditioner in between washes. Products i recommend: Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Shampoo and conditioner, Doo Groo Mega Thick Growth Oil, Vitamin E oil (can purchase this at CVS). Deep Condition once a week, wear satin cap at night or sleep on satin pillow cases. Keep straightened hair wrapped. Use 100% boar bristle brush only, use wide toothed combs when combing hair. Oil scalp every other day/night. NEVER EVER USE DR. MIRACLE’S!!!! It’s a load of CRAP!

I am an African American woman and I decided to go natural about 6 months ago. I suffer from a skin condition that prevents me from using a wide variety of products on my hair due to allergic reactions. During the time when this condition started I suffered hair loss on my temples and in the top of my hair. I’ve tried a few products but nothing really seems to work. I can;t use anything heavy or harsh so if anyone has any tips then i would greatly appreciate them. I’m thinking about taking Biotin for hair and starting an exercise regime also if you have any tips on that.

I just starting wearing glasses again and it seems that my hair around my wear my glasses are is coming out. I dont see any of it coming out, just see it getting thin. Could it be my glasses that is taking my hair out? This seems to be the only part of my hair that has a problem. And if they are doing this what product should I use to help it to grow thick and strong?

I’m an African American woman, I’m 19 and my hair is shedding like crazy but i don’t know why. I stopped blow drying my hair almost a year ago, i put it in braids and let it air dry. I deep condition it and use damage reversal conditioners even though my hair isn’t damaged at all. I stretch my straightening relaxers 10 weeks instead of six, and my hair dressers say that my hair is very healthy and in good condition. I always make sure its moisturized as well. I’ve gotten a lot of growth but i’m afraid all my work will go to waste because of this shedding and breaking. It sometimes even comes out at the slightest pull of hair.
I’ve done everything from putting an egg and mayo in my hair (i kno sounds weird but its a homemade remedy) to buying tons of breakage reversal products.
I don’t know what to do. One factor i think that may be causing it is my birth control. i’m on Zovia and it says that hair loss can be a symptom but how long will this last? should i stop taking it? i’m not even sure if that’s the cause. HELP!
