I have anxiety over some issues and general anxiety also. I’ve had normal to slightly above anxiety all my life, and it was very normal. However in the last two years my anxiety has gone way up and i’ve never seeked treatment. I was considered about taking an anti-anxiety medication but I heard about the side effects. Two side effects bothered me the most, one was hair loss and the other was weight gain.
I’ve heard you can gain like 50lbs by taking anxiety medications. Is hair loss a common side effect or is it extremely rare?
Which anxiety medication would you recommend
Would taking the anxiety medication make my anxiety go away for real or would it just mask it? I have phobias of some things that causes anxiety.
How long would the effect take place if I took the anxiety medication?
Also I have sinus problems that I developed when just about anxiety went up. Could these be correlated ?
My anxiety also causes me to itch everywhere sometimes.
Also I have the same itch symptom if I excercise. This didn’t happen before i had bad anxiety.

im around 20 years old and i want to know what kind of side effects can this pills have… they are french, so a lot of info of the internet is in this language. i just started it last night for my seizures ive had them since i was 13 and im gonna be 21 this year
i was on dialten before but that would only control my grand mal seizures i still would have myoclonic seizures daily at least once a day
so my docotr pretty much mad me go on depakote even when i know the side effects of the medication (hair loss and weight gain) when he told me its either that or having a seizure that could kill you
im really scared because id rather be dead then fat and bald to be honest
so im really asking to ONLY people who know about this medication!!!!!!
do these symptoms happen like for really? and is the wait gain caused by the medication causing hunger or other reasons?
and how mush wait does it cause you to gain?
and to people who have tooken it before does your hair really fall out like bad or at all?
and to people who dont understand what its like to live with a illness especially one of the brain where your body and survival is functioned by what the medication your on dont even reply because i dont even care what you think because you will never understand how it feels to live with a something wrong with other then being a judgmental

i am using a tablet for hair regrowth and for stop hair fall. the tablets works by stopping harmones in men or something that i don’t know. i have noticed a marked difference in my amount of ejaculate ( it has decreased ) and my sex drive is also lowered by that tablet ( name is geneses) . but some ppl say that after the treatment of hair if i quit the medicene all will be ok and my sex drive will be restored. is it true . please give me some sensable answers.

Is there a beta blocker or ace inhibitor that does not have dizziness, nightmares, hair loss, weirdness, really low blood pressure as a side effect? Broke hip and then had a heart attack.

I am starting to take the pill Aviane to regulate my period, which I have had for close to four years. I have no real problem with taking it, but some of the side effects listed make me nervous. For those of you who use it, I would like to ask you if you have experienced the following, and if so, how severe were they:
Hair Loss
Weight Gain
Depression
Acne
Decrease in sex drive
These are the ones that worry me the most. Please let me know if they are very common/severe, or if they’re just little things I won’t really notice. Thank you!

I was put on Topomax today for migraines. I am to start with 25mg, then move up to 200mg. What side effects should I look for? How much weight did you lose while taking this medicine? How long will it be before I can see its affects? I suffer from daily headaches, and 2-3 migraines per week. I have read some other q&a about this, and saw that hair loss was a side effect, has this happened to any women?
