im 32 and i just started taking finasteride for male baldness , my doctor said minoxidil was not that good, a pile of crap and to try this.
i want to know, would i be okay just taking this medication for male hair baldness or do i need to use this medication in conjunction with other hair loss medications ?
im on disability and only really receive a limited income so i cannot really afford anything else , i was just wanting to know would the propecia, finasteride be enough ?

he adviced me to take finasteride 1mg for a month.can i take it for a month?..and can i change it to minoxidil after taking finasteride for a month?..is it advicable or will it works if i take minoxidil by discontinuing finasteride 1mg after taking for a month?….please help friends…

My brother(32 years old) has genetic frontal hair loss problem. He takes Finast (finasteride) 1mg dose daily with doctor’s prescription. But he is scared about it’s side affects? please give your advice and opinion about this. If you know any other treatments for this problem please let me know.

I just turned 17 ten days ago and i noticed my hair line is thinning. My hair is thinning in the two corners of my hair line. My father went bald really early. I looked at his hair and I don’t believe we have Alopecia or anything like that. like, his hair line recedes and makes that “M” shape.
What can I do to stop it and have my hairline again?

Hi, Can someone have shedding after increasing the dose of propecia? I’m 22 years old started losing hair 2.5 years ago, a year ago I started taking proscar pills cut in quarters, hair loss continued but it may have slowed down a little bit, about 3 months ago I started taking proscar pills cut in half, and since then my hair loss increased a lot and I lost hair much faster than before, so could it be shedding from increasing propecia dose
