I have read that hair laser treatments are an effective way to stop hair loss and grow new hair. Does anyone know what the best hair loss laser treatment there is. Do you have to go to a hair loss clinic or can you buy a hair laser to use at home?
Answer by Max
You should be aware that there is a home-use laser phototherapy device, the HairMax LaserComb that has been 510(k) cleared by the FDA for marketing for the treatment of hereditary hair loss.
The HairMax LaserComb has undergone rigorous clinical studies, and has been proven effective in over 90% of users. The conclusion of the study were “The results of this study suggest that the HairMax LaserComb is an effective, well tolerated and safe laser phototherapy device for the treatment of AGA (male pattern baldness) in males.”
It is safe, having been shown to cause no unwanted side effects and is free from on-going costs. Used 3x a week for 10-15 minutes at a time, the Laser Light of the HairMax effectively stimulates the hair follicle causing increased density, increased rate of growth, and an overall normalization of the scalp. The HairMax LaserComb is the easiest, most effective way to reverse thinning hair.
The HairMax gives hope to those suffering from hair loss by providing a cost effective, convenient solution that can be used in the comfort of your own home. It is a one time purchase, comes with a 2 year warranty and a 5 month money back guarantee. The best part, you don’t have to travel to expensive clinics for your laser phototherapy hair loss treatment.
You can learn more about how the HairMax works by visiting http://www.hairmax.com, and get information including testimonials, before/after photos and a user forum with over 20,000 members. There you will also find a .00 coupon that you can use should you decide to purchase one.

I have a few people who swear this line of products work. Anyone have any experience with these products? Particularly the Therapro – Bioclenz Antioxidant Shampoo and the Therapro Scalp Energizing Stimulator?

For a couple hours now, I’ve been surfing the web, looking for a suitable product to purchase for my boyfriend. He’s in his early 20’s, and his hair is thinning/balding. It’s hereditary. He wants to find something to help, and I’m looking for the right product for him.
I started off with researching Rogaine, but I’m hearing about some nasty side effects, and plus, it’s a life-long commitment. Then I came across Propecia, and there’s no way in hell I’m letting him use that stuff, considering that it can have sexual side effects. It’s just not worth it.
I saw another product, called Provillus, and it seemed to be good. But it’s not FDA approved, and it’s also pills, not cream, and I don’t know how I feel about him taking something orally. It makes me nervous.
Lastly, I looked up Shampoo’s, to see if I could find any luck there. I found Nioxin. Once again, it seems ok, and I don’t see any side effects. But it’s so hard to trust these products.
Ergo, I figured that I’d ask actual people if they have any suggestions, or if they could share their stories and what worked for them. Tell me anything that worked for you, and any side effects it had. Whether it be cream, pills, shampoo, etc. I’d really, really appreciate it.

ive been a hairstylist for 5 years…the only product i reccomend for client with thinning hair is Nioxin…it works. they carry an entire line of products that i use on all my clients with thinning hair. it helps the hair grow thicker and actually opens the hair follicle to grow thicker and faster. now its not going to happen over night it took about 2 weeks before i started noticing a difference in my clients. good luck!

yes it does. and its worth a shot anyways, if it will make you happy why not try? But if it doesnt work there are always hair plugs you can do, those do for sure work.

I take Prenatal Vitamins recommended by my Cosmetology teacher. She said they help hair growth and nails. So,I heard biotin helps too. Can anyone make me a list of vitamins for hair growth?
Answer by emokangaroo
Your cosmetology teacher shouldn’t have recommended those to you. Without seeing a doctor they can have a seriously negative affect such as blindness… overdosing that much on vitamins can be very bad for you, but they are the only thing that can really help hair grow… since HAIR ISN’T ALIVE AND DOESN’T GROW! It is a keratin/protein accumulation that builds up and pushed out of the follicle.

Hello.. So I’,m a guy who is 25 and apparently I’m already losing my hair, man, this sucks! anyways, I’m trying to take measures as fast as possible in order to avoid losing my hair. Right now I’m taking zinc and biotin, and I think is working…about a month ago I tried eucalyptus oil, however, it didn’t work for me.. one night I applied eucalyptus oil to my hair and the very next day when I woke up I was shocked when I saw that I had lost several hairs from the left side of my head… anyways… I have also read about rogaine.. apparently such product is pretty good, however, I don’t like the fact that in order for such product to work you need to apply it to your hair for the rest of your life.. I’m very interested in natural products… today I went to a natural store and asked about hair loss products… they recommended me a shampoo which is made with herbs … it was a shampoo from China… I didn’t buy the shampoo… because first I would like to ask any hair expert a question…. if I use such shampoo, do I need to apply it to my hair for the rest of my life?
Answer by lakerfan
If it’s hereditary, there’s not much you can do. But you can try Hair, Skin, and Nail vitamins. I use that a lot and it seems to help. Can’t hurt, plus i’m sure it’s cheaper. Good luck.

I heard from a friend that when washing your hair it’s good to change your shampoo one a week and another friend said every 3 weeks. Any ideas or answers????
Answer by Jenny
I heard that it has nothing to do with changing shampoos every so often. It just depends on your hair type and the type of shampoo that is best for it. I trust shampoos that come from salons than from supermarkets. There is only one supermarket shampoo that I trust and it is Treseme (spelling?) It works wonders on my hair and it is affordable.

I am considering getting a european hair treatment. But i would really like some personal opinions first on whether or not it is worth doing. Thanks a bunch!
Answer by Tanner
I dont know European hair treamtent, but if you are considering a treatment, you should really look at www.biolustreflorida.com treatement. It gives you 2 and shampoo and conditioner, I am sure it is probably cheaper since it is a home treatement. I swear by it, I can not tell you how amazing my hair is now. it really saved me from pulling a ‘Brittany’. You should check it out! Good Luck!
