Hello
I have hair loss .doctor told me it is genetic. he advised me to take a propecia( Canadian pill) or finpecia(Indian pill).
first :is this a good advise?
Second: how long should I take this pill?
Third: does it make any difference to take the Indian one or Canadian one ?
(it is to be noted that the Canadian one is much more expencive).
With the best regards.

I am a high school senior and am taking Topamax for headaches and have lost about half of my hair. I used to have thick and wavy auburn hair and now I have very thin and limp straight hair because I have lost so much of it. Does anyone have any suggestions to help regrow my hair? I need my confidence back.

I am thinking once she reaches the age of 12 it should be atleast midway down her back. That should be the minimum for all women unless they have hair loss in which case they should wear some kind of headcovering or wig.

I am a 26/f. I have been having hair loss for the past 6+months. Doesn’t seem normal. When I take a shower, I run my fingers through my hair and 4-5strands come out at a time. I am wondering if it is because I wear my hair up in a ponytail 24/7?! It doesn’t run in the family. I want to start taking a good vitamin to see if that is the cause. Any recommendations? Can wearing a normal ponytail cause the loss?

I was told the other day that men over 50 should not ejaculate as it causes hair loss and the loss of vital life force so is not good for their health. I was under the impression that it was good for men to have a healthy sex life when they got older but am worried she might be correct.

Medical Radiation Exposure Safeguards Should Be Tighter Says FDA
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says safeguards for avoiding unnecessary exposure to medical radiation should be tightened and announced a new three-pronged initiative on Tuesday to increase oversight of the biggest contributors: computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine studies, and fluoroscopy. I recently noticed that I have been loosing quite a bit of hair towards the front of my scalp. I tried the volume shampoo and conditioners and it helped a little but I really want to kick this problem before it gets worse. What kind of doctor is the best one to go to for hair loss. I really do not think its so serious where I need to go to an actual “hair loss” company. Lets just say there is enough hair missing that my mom pulled me aside and talked to me about it.

The general doctor I saw a while back said it was no big deal. I can pick up all my hair into a ponytail with a tiny little clip and I’m 25. That’s a big deal! Even my hairstyling said my line is thinning too much.
It falls in clumps especially after showering and during the day i shed everywhere. I already use nutri-ox and have upped my calcium intake. What the heck should i do???

Ok, so for the past few year or so , I seem to have lost a lots of hairs, and my hair have become really weak and rough. I get tiny pimples around the forehead and around the scalp. I don’t know how i got dandruff or when? and now its looks like dandruff is becoming the reason for my baldness around on both sides of my hair. My hair even gets oily just in 2 days, even though i don’t use any chemical spray or mousse. my hair are straight and i don’t even apply any sort of chemical, neither have i dyed them. I did try to use head and shoulders dandruff for sometime but that didn’t work out to well.
I really need help before there’s no hair left on my scalp.
Thank You

I have hair that is somewhat oily and I also have dandruff. I use Head and Shoulders that is for normal hair. I’ve heard that it’s not good to use head and shoulders every day. So I have some White Rain shapoo that I use about every other day. That shapoo seems to make my hair dry while in general I still have dandruff. Suggestions are greatly appriciated. Thanks.

Everytime, I saw the article about hair loss and they also advise people to consult with doctor. However, they never mention what type of doctor should we visit? Does anyone visit doctor and get good result? What is my expectation?
